ABS-CBN goes off air after 65 years

 

 
After 65 years of service, media giant ABS-CBN goes off air following a cease order by the NTC. 



On March 11, NTC Deputy Commissioner Ed Cabarrios said they will issue ABS-CBN a provisional permit to operate unless there is restraint from the courts. On May 5, NTC serves a cease and desist order to the media giant.
