2 Lava 2 Lantula is a science fiction horror film released in 2016. It is a sequel to the movie "Lavalantula" (2015). The film follows the story of Colton West, a washed-up action star played by Steve Guttenberg, who becomes a reluctant hero when a new wave of giant lava-breathing tarantulas terrorizes Florida.
In "2 Lava 2 Lantula," the massive spiders, known as "lavalantulas," make a comeback and wreak havoc on a tropical island paradise. Colton West, along with a group of survivors, must battle the rampaging creatures to protect themselves and prevent the spiders from spreading their destruction to the mainland.
The film combines elements of disaster movies, creature features, and campy humor, embracing the B-movie aesthetic. It offers a mix of action, suspense, and comedic moments as the characters face off against the oversized arachnids.
